The parties agree as follows:

1. Services

The Housekeeper agrees to provide housekeeping services for the Client at the following property:

Any service not specifically included in this Agreement will require separate approval by the parties.

The Housekeeper may refuse to use any product or equipment that appears unsafe or unsuitable.

5. Access to Property

• secure valuable, fragile, or sensitive items before service if necessary;

• inform the Housekeeper of hazards, damaged surfaces, infestations, or unsafe conditions;

• provide a reasonably safe working environment;

• notify the Housekeeper of any special preferences or restricted areas.

7. Housekeeper Responsibilities

The Housekeeper agrees to:

• perform the services in a professional and timely manner;

• use reasonable care while working at the property;

• follow any lawful and reasonable cleaning instructions provided by the Client;

• notify the Client of any visible issue, damage, or condition noticed during service that reasonably should be reported.

8. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Either party may cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment by giving at least [Number] hours’ notice.

If the Client cancels with less than the required notice, the Client will [owe the full fee / owe a partial fee / owe no fee], unless the Housekeeper agrees otherwise.

If the Housekeeper must cancel, the Housekeeper will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the service promptly.

9. Additional Services

10. Independent Contractor Status

The Housekeeper is acting as an independent contractor and not as an employee of the Client, unless the parties expressly state otherwise in writing.

The Housekeeper is responsible for the Housekeeper’s own business operations, taxes, licenses, and insurance, to the extent required by applicable law.

11. Damage and Liability

The Housekeeper will use reasonable care while providing services. The Client agrees to notify the Housekeeper of any claim for damage or loss within [Number] days after the service date.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Housekeeper will not be liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from faulty materials, unstable items, or conditions not reasonably visible during service.

Any liability of the Housekeeper will be limited to the amount paid for the specific service visit directly related to the claim, unless otherwise required by law.

12. Confidentiality and Privacy

The Housekeeper agrees to treat personal information learned during the service relationship with reasonable confidentiality and not intentionally disclose private household information except as required by law.

The Client also agrees to respect the Housekeeper’s personal information and business records.

13. Term and Termination
