Our promise at AI Lawyer: keeping your data safe.
Thank you for choosing our AI-Lawyer platform ("the Platform"). We understand that your privacy is important and we are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we collect from you, how we use it, and your rights regarding the information.
Information we collect:
To use the Platform, we require you to provide us with your name and email address. This information is necessary to provide you with the legal advice and services you request.
How we use your information:
We do not share, sell, or rent your personal information to any third party for their marketing purposes. We use your name and email address only to communicate with you about your legal advice and services, and to improve our Platform. We may also use your information for analytical purposes to improve our Platform and services.
Google Workspace API Usage:
We affirm that Google Workspace APIs are not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models. Our application does not retain or use Google Workspace data to train generalized AI or ML models. If any Google user data is utilized, it is solely for personalized AI/ML models and not for generalized or non-personalized AI/ML models.
Transfer of Data to Third-Party AI Tools:
We do not transfer any Google user data to third-party AI tools for the purpose of developing, improving, or training generalized or non-personalized AI/ML models.
To generate responses and analyze documents, AI-Lawyer transmits the
content you submit - your chat messages, uploaded files, and related
metadata - from our servers to third-party AI model providers. These
providers process the content only for the duration of your request and
return a response. Under our agreements with them:
They do not use your content to train their models.
They retain the content for at most 30 days for abuse-monitoring
purposes, after which it is deleted.We do not share your name, email, payment data, or account
identifiers with them.
By using the AI features of AI-Lawyer, you consent to this processing.

Third-Party AI Processors:
To answer your questions and analyze the files you upload, AI-Lawyer
forwards the content you submit from our servers to the following
third-party AI processors. Each acts as a data processor under a written
Data Processing Agreement with AI-Lawyer:

Under our agreements, these providers:
receive only the content of your request (messages, uploaded files,
and minimal technical metadata);do not receive your name, email address, payment information, or
account identifiers;do not retain your content beyond processing the individual request
(zero retention or up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, after which
the content is deleted);do not use your content to train their general-purpose AI models;
provide contractual protections equivalent to those described in
this Privacy Policy and comply with applicable data-protection
laws, including the GDPR (for users in the EU / EEA / UK) and
the CCPA (for residents of California).
You consent to this processing by tapping "I Agree" in the application
on first use, or by otherwise using the AI features of AI-Lawyer. You
may withdraw consent at any time by discontinuing use of the AI
features or by deleting your account.
Your rights:
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information at any time. You can do this by contacting us. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information and to lodge a complaint with the appropriate supervisory authority.
Security:
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We use industry-standard encryption technologies and secure servers to protect your information.
Changes to the policy:
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post the updated policy on our website, and your continued use of the Platform after the changes have been made will indicate your acceptance of the updated policy.
