7. Assumption of Risk

The Client understands that physical exercise and fitness activities involve inherent risks, including muscle strain, falls, fatigue, abnormal blood pressure responses, aggravation of pre-existing conditions, and other minor or serious injuries.

By participating in training sessions, the Client voluntarily accepts these risks to the extent permitted by applicable law.


8. No Medical or Nutrition Advice

The Trainer is not acting as a physician, physical therapist, licensed dietitian, or other licensed healthcare professional unless specifically stated in writing.

Any general fitness, wellness, or nutrition-related guidance provided under this Agreement is for informational and training purposes only and is not medical advice or treatment.


9. Trainer Responsibilities

The Trainer agrees to:

  • provide training services in a professional and timely manner;

  • explain exercises and training techniques with reasonable care;

  • adjust sessions as reasonably appropriate based on the Client’s disclosed goals and limitations;

  • maintain professional boundaries throughout the training relationship.


10. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • arrive on time and prepared for sessions;

  • follow instructions to the best of the Client’s ability;

  • inform the Trainer immediately of pain, dizziness, discomfort, or other unusual symptoms;

  • use equipment responsibly;

  • communicate honestly about health conditions, injuries, and scheduling issues.


11. Results Not Guaranteed

The Client understands that individual fitness results vary and depend on many factors, including effort, consistency, nutrition, sleep, health condition, and lifestyle choices.

The Trainer does not guarantee any specific result, including weight loss, muscle gain, improved performance, or other fitness outcome.


12. Independent Judgment and Safety

The Client may stop any exercise at any time if the Client feels pain, discomfort, or believes it is unsafe to continue.

The Trainer may also stop or modify any exercise or session if the Trainer reasonably believes it is unsafe or inappropriate for the Client at that time.


13. Confidentiality

The Trainer will use reasonable care to keep the Client’s personal and health-related information confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary for safety, payment, or business administration.


14. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement by giving [Number] days’ written notice.

The Trainer may terminate this Agreement immediately if the Client fails to pay as agreed, behaves abusively, repeatedly misses sessions, or withholds important health information that makes training unsafe.
