About
Kamal Tserakhau is a Warsaw-based lawyer with over a decade of practice at the intersection of technology, intellectual property, and international dispute resolution. He heads the Polish office of an international law firm and leads its arbitration and IT disputes practice - a team he built from scratch into one of the firm's most profitable units. Before that, he worked as in-house counsel across several IT companies and startups, which gives him an unusually practical grasp of how tech businesses actually operate rather than how they look from the outside.
His work spans cross-border corporate structuring, IP enforcement, GDPR compliance, and high-stakes arbitration before institutions including ICC, SCC, SIAC, and HKIAC. He has represented game studios, fintech companies, and SaaS businesses in disputes against platforms such as Apple, Google, and Meta.
Beyond client work, Kamal follows AI regulation closely - EU AI Act, liability frameworks, and the practical compliance questions that most legal commentary still gets wrong. He also builds his own legal tech tools on the side: nothing enterprise-grade, but working prototypes that automate parts of legal workflow he finds genuinely tedious. That hands-on exposure to how AI systems are actually built informs how he writes about them.

Role in AI Lawyer
Kamal reviews and contributes to legal content across technology law, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance. His articles draw on active casework rather than textbook summaries - the difference matters when the audience includes founders, legal teams, and practitioners who need analysis they can actually use.
